Now that the weather has finally decided to stop acting up, it seemed like the perfect day for riding home from San Francisco.
Starting with the Embarcadero, Marina Blvd and Crissy Field and then on to Skyline all the way down to the Peninsula. Gorgeous ride indeed.
Here are the high level direction if you’re coming from the financial district or SOMA and want to avoid messy urban traffic (thanks David!).
- Follow Embarcadero towards Golden Gate
- Stay on Jefferson
- Go straight thru the Aquatic Park
- RIGHT on Van Ness
- Go thru Fort Mason via McDowell Av
- RIGHT on Marina Blvd
- Turns into Mason St
- LEFT and then RIGHT UP the hill on Crissy Field Ave (between buildings)
- RIGHT on Lincoln Blvd, go under 101
- Cross 25th Av, becomes El Camino Del Mar
- LEFT on 30th Av
- RIGHT ON CLEMENT ST until it dead ends
- LEFT and RIGHT to Point Lobos Ave
- Follow Great Hwy turns into Skyline Blvd
This is to avoid the messy hwy 1 and 35 exchange in Daly City. About 8 miles into Skyline Blvd

- LEFT on Skyline Dr
- LEFT on Gateway Dr
- LEFT on Hickey Blvd
- Back on Skyline
