Crumbs
I wrote this component for NetObject Fusion in early 1999. It was loosely inspired from an example in their CDK and was my first foray into Java programming. A lot has happened since.
Description
This component allows you to automatically generate a navigation bar that represents the hierarchical position of the page you are currently on. It was originally named “CoolNavBar”, but I changed it to “Crumbs” to be more descriptive, as this kind of navigation is often time refereed to as “Bread Crumbs” (I assume after Le Petit Poucet). It is made available under a BSD style license.
Installation
- Download the self-extractable component.
- Double click to extract its content into your NOF components directory. For instance: C:\NetObjects Fusion 7.0\Components
- Start the NetObjects program. Right click on the left side toolbar. Select “Component Tools->auberger.com nof components”. You can now click this icon
to access the component and place it on your page.
